A. Yes, you must have a skin test 48 Hours prior to your first application then every 6 Months following.
Q. Do I need a skin test before I have highlights?
A. No, this is not required as the product will not come into contact with your skin. as long as a toner is not used.
Q. What is a Colour Refresh?
A. It is a temporary colour, and is great for in-between your main colour appointment especially if going for bright colours or blondes.
Q. Can Jdaw come to me?
A. Absolutely! Jdaw To Go can come to you. It costs £20 per hour per stylist + Travel Costs
Q. Can I have extra girls at the Glam Parties?
A. Yes to a extent, but we cannot guarantee that everybody will receive all of the treatments on offer.
Q. How long before my wedding should I have my trial?
A. We would advice at least a Month before to allow time for changes, veil no veil etc....
Q. Why should I tint my eyebrows, they are already dark?
A. Tinting will help to fill in your finest of hairs and make your eyebrows look fuller and thicker.
Q. What is OPI Gel Colour?
A. OPI Gel Colour is a gel polish that goes on to your natural nail and lasts around 2 to 4 weeks.
Q. Why do you not offer nail extensions?
A. By using OPI Gel Colour we can strengthen your nails and encourage growth naturally without any damaging effects.
Q. What ear piercing brand do you use and where do you pierce?
A. We use Calfon and we only do the lobe
Q. What are party lashes?
A. Party lashes are a more natural alternative to strip lashes, party lashes are individual bulbs of 4-5 hairs that make your lashes fuller, longer or both.
Q. How long do party lashes last for?
A. We usually say that they will last for 1 - 2 days, but can last for up to 4 weeks!!!
Q. Why airbrushed make-up?
A. It's a silicon based make-up which is water resistant, heat resistant and delivers perfect coverage on blemishes, tattoos, rosacea & thead veins. It is also renowned for its longevity, which is why it is used in TV, film, stage and in the glossies.
Q. What is Microdermabrasion?
A. Treatment that restores smoother younger looking skin. Great for treating the appearance of fine lines, scars, black heads, wrinkles, excessive oiliness, or dry and flaky skin. Also, the removal of dead skin cells reveals the soft and more youthful looking skin cells underneath. The abrasion of the skin also encourages the body's own natural repair mechanism, which triggers the production of new collagen and rehydrates the recently abraded area. This has a remarkable softening action on surface lines and wrinkles. Microdermabrasion can also be used to treat sun damaged skin and improve acne, but must be repeated periodically to be effective.
Q. Is Microdermabrasion painful?
A. In a nutshell, no. However, you may experience a mild warming or tingling sensation.
Q. What should I know before my Microdermabrasion?
A. Ensure that you are not wearing any make-up and make sure that you have shaved, waxed or threaded 24 - 48 hours prior to treatment.
Q. What type of results can I expect to see following my Microdermabrasion?
A. The results of a micro can be seen immediately. Just one session can improve the skin's colour, tone and health. After treatment the face should have a fresh appearance and a smooth soft texture. However, the Microdermabrasion system is most effective when a client receives multiple treatments at intervals of 10 days to start then go to every month or so.
Q. Can I return straight to work after a Microdermabrasion session?
A. Yes. Microdermabrasion is often referred to as the "lunch hour facial", because the process is mild and side effects are hardly noticeable. After the treatment your skin should look and feel refreshed, and be only slightly flushed.
Q. What after care do I need for after my Microdermabrasion?
A. Try not to expose your skin to the sun and be sure to use a high SPF, try to leave your skin as long as possible without make-up
